Nyanza Next Stop for CORD Coalition Principals

Prime Minister Raila Odinga, the Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) Presidential candidate, will make an intensive three-day visit to Nyanza, beginning Monday, 4th February, 2013, to Wednesday, 6th February, 2013, to solidify the vote in the area.

Mr Odinga accompanied by his co-CORD principals, Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka and Minister Moses Watengula and other coalition luminaries; will address campaign rallies in Kisii, Nyamira, Migori, Homa Bay and Siaya counties.

The team’s first stop will be Kisii and Nyamira, on Monday, 4th February, 2013, where they are scheduled to hold mini rallies in different parts of the two counties, before addressing a major rally at the Gusii Stadium, Kisii.

The following day, Tuesday, 5th February, 2013, the three principals will travel to Kuria for a major rally at Kehancha. Mini rallies are equally planned in various parts of the county to be addressed separately by the PM, the V-P and Mr Wetangula.

On Wednesday, 6th February, 2013, the principals will move to Homa Bay and Siaya counties, where they will address major rallies at the Homa Bay and Siaya stadiums.

Meanwhile, the recently launched CORD EFFECT campaign team is set to rock Kisii, Nyamira and Kisumu counties on Sunday, 3rd February, 2013, and Monday, 4th February, 2013, respectively.

On Sunday, the team’s caravan will extensively traverse Kisii and Nyamira counties; before proceeding to Kisumu City on Monday – with stops at Sondu, Katito, Ahero, Rabuor and Nyamasaria. In Kisumu, the team will address crowds at Kondele, Jua Kali, Bus Terminus, before addressing a major rally at the Kenyatta Sports Ground.
